With the holidays just around the corner, something popped into my head, and I wanted to get your thoughts.

Where do you all like to spend this time of year?

I know some folks dream of a quiet campground, maybe with a killer view, sipping a warm cup of coffee in the crisp morning air. Others are all about heading back home, catching up with family, and diving into those good old traditions.

There’s really no right or wrong way to do it, you know? It’s just one of those things that’s totally different for every RVer out there.

I’m super curious to hear what you all think. Do you spend the holidays on the road, or do you head back to a more traditional setting?

RV Safety Snapshot

Okay, so here’s a little RV safety nugget I wanted to drop on you today – something that’s easy to overlook.

We all get super comfy in our RVs, right? I mean, it’s our home on wheels! But sometimes, we get too comfy and forget the basics.

Quick question: When’s the last time you glanced at your fire extinguisher? Seriously, pop over there, check that little gauge, and make sure you can grab it in a heartbeat.

Look, RV fires aren’t exactly common, but when they do happen, things can go south real quick. Trust me on this. I’ve actually got a story about this from one of my own adventures… but I’ll save that gem for another time. 😉

Seriously though, a measly 10-second check today could save you a massive headache (and a whole lot more) down the road. Just sayin’.

End-of-Road Chuckle

I told my wife I wanted to reconnect with nature. She packed a WiFi extender and a portable espresso machine.

Apparently, nature and I are meeting halfway.

Well that’s all for today. On Sunday, I’m sharing something power-related that has surprised more RVers than anything else so far… It absolutely belongs in our ‘Why Didn’t Anyone Tell Me?’ corner.
